We really do appreciate your burden for the work in Thailand.
At the present count there are 60 dead and more than 970,000 households or over 2.7 million people in 259 districts of 34 provinces that have been affected by the flooding since Oct 10. These provinces are submerged in water.
The rains started and it seemed like it would never end. Day after day the monsoons came down in torrents. At night time the sound of falling rain was almost deafening. The Bing River that starts in Chiangmai started to flood upstream as did the River Naan which both converges to become the JawPhraYaa River here in Nakorn Sawan. The various dams between here and Bangkok could not contain any more water and they were opened to reduced pressure but the result has been devastation throughout the central plains. This problem has been replicated throughout Thailand.
Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge UK is a registered charity and operates nationally to help young people who have developed life controlling problems, especially drug and alcohol addictions, and also to offer preventative help to those who may be in danger of doing so.
Teen Challenge UK started in the late Seventies and now works in fifteen locations in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Teen Challenge London and Teen Challenge Strathclyde grew out of Teen Challenge UK and are now affiliated works.
Teen Challenge UK is a Christian faith based organisation.

New Foundations
New Foundations is a Cambridge based registered Charity providing evidenced based Primary Care Health programs to rural communities in the Niger Delta since 2003.
As a Christian Medical Mission we have two principal objectives:
- ‘That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another….’ 1 John 3 v 23
- To raise up local Health Care Workers, educate, remunerate and work in respectful partnership to deliver quality health care, free to all, without condition or prejudice.
‘Cure the people who are there, say to them “The Kingdom of God has drawn close to you”’.
